Ken Em, over 4 years ago I'm so old I remember when Facebook was still a web app. On the other hand, it wasn't as massive and bloated as it is now.

I remember being part of one of the first public rounds of FB signups. It was quite a pleasant web app back in the mid-late 00's.

At a glance, a lot of the 2008 apps look easier to use than their 2018 counterparts

App functionality has increased a lot over the years as well. Even things like PC Calc aren't as simple as their 2008 counterparts.
Ahmed Sulaiman, over 4 years ago and marketing departments increased as well :) Now many big companies think firstly about money, rather than user experience.

Its crazy that the big change only came recently. It was categories and lists for waaay too long.

hardware design, yeah. their software is always neglected.
