Miramar’s growing Product team is looking for a remote, UI/UX product designer who wants to do innovative work in a flexible, fun and creative environment.

As the UI/UX product designer, you will collaborate with our engineering and sales team to play a critical role in the development and delivery of product features. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and translate any direction and/or feedback into a smooth and intuitive interaction. You will also assist in the creation and maintenance of creative assets for multiple iOS, Android, and Responsive Web apps. We require you ensure brand guidelines are being maintained across color, font, production quality and make sure everything is done to specs.

You should have a passion to explore cutting edge design solutions, as well as dream up innovative ways to reach customers who use our platforms.

Job Responsibilities
  • Focus on key deliverables, data, and customer conversion for design projects
  • Design both, user interfaces and a clean user experience, for client properties(Responsive Web App, iOS/Android App, Web Marketing Campaigns, etc.)
  • Create assets for iOS and Android for multiple device sizes and resolutions.
  • Brainstorm big ideas in a group setting and express your opinion
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends, newest digital platforms and competitive landscape and apply best practices to all work.
  • Create pixel perfect UI elements: illustrations, icons, photos and meticulous production of high-fidelity visual design comps
  • Create and manage visual design documentation and specifications
  • Support design consistency and quality across multiple digital channels, device platforms and screen resolutions
  • Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e.color theory, visual weight, etc.)
  • Maintain a keen focus on complete responsive UI design highlighting effective mobile, tablet, and other device strategies
  • When required, offer full resolution, demo-ready design mockups using an app like Principle for design previews—should include all states of elements that have multiple states
  • Collaborate closely with development to make sure designs are implemented and tested as intended
  • Continually keep yourself inspired and actively pursue new ways of learning
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years’ design experience with responsive web applications, iOS, Android and e-commerce with a proven track record.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-caliber visual communication, web, mobile design and production skills.
  • Robust knowledge of design tools(Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Webflow, etc.), prototyping tools (Principle and Webflow) and various design management tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Understanding of capabilities and limitations of front end technologies, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (you will not be expected to code)
  • Proven ability to work within brand guidelines to create compelling visual solutions
Bonus Skills
  • Motion Design experience with app animation tools (After Effects, Principle, Flinto)
  • Front-end coding skills (CSS,HTML, JavaScript)
