I have your wireframe kit for Sketch. My biggest complaint is lack of naming. 99% of everything is named "shape" and in a folder called "group".

This makes it almost unusable for me.

Just checked out the free file. Unless the paid version is significantly different, I'd have to agree with you. No use of Symbols? At all? What am I supposed to do— copy and paste these artboards again and again?

The free file has even more naming than the paid one. The paid version has screens named as folders 1-25.

Clark, we originally were going to use symbols but the problem is symbols can't be imported globally and are tied to the document they're in. Unless you're making your documents inside the kit file, you'll have to copy/paste no matter what.

Do you think it would be useful to have them set up as symbols anyway?

BTW guys, feedback from the Sketch community is definitely helpful for us, so thanks for posting. We take all these comments into account when updating old assets or making new ones.

Ideally you would include files with blank canvases for web, ipad horiz/vert, and iphone with all relevant elements saved as symbols.

The user would then save them as a template.

Same way that they included the Teehan +Lax ios7 gui in Sketch 3

Gotcha. That makes sense, great feedback Andrew and Clark! This will mean a slight install process but it's pretty straightforward and can I see how it will help.

We'll update the kit and you'll receive an email notification once we upload it. Our goal with these is obviously to save time for designers, so receiving comments from those of you using them in real world situations helps for sure.

Hey Andrew, Clark, and readers, just wanted to mention specifically what we're working on.

Our layers will all be named and more discretely grouped. http://prntscr.com/3w8siv

Each screen will be saved as a symbol.

The artboards currently in the file will remain, for an at-a-glance overview of the included content, which of course could be deleted if not needed.

There will be new pages/artboards for blank screens

We'll include instructions on how to save as a template just in case.

These changes are all currently in progress and you guys will get an email update when the file is updated on the server.

Really great response to the feedback Chris. Awesome example of great customer service.

I found the other artboards under additional pages. I don't normally use pages in my wireframing workflow so I didn't even think to check there.

              My bad.

No problem, Andrew! The page thing seems to be a common issue (pages were new to sketch 3 i think, and probably got upstaged by symbols heh)

Anyway, rest assured this is in progress and we'll push it out asap.

          Yep, Symbols are king.

Aside from avoiding the copy/paste, it would keep all screens in sync if you needed to make a change (ie remove a title from one screen, have it removed from all).

Doing things inside the kit file would be just fine, as long as the user makes a new instance each time, which is exactly the native Sketch behavior (New from template).
