Android design head explains why mobile is dead(theverge.com)

    It's a sensationalist title. He doesn't mean "mobile is dead" as in "smartphones are dead". He means that the concept of "mobile" as this stand-alone thing you build stuff for is not useful anymore. Instead of building stuff for "mobile" and having some features only on mobile and some only on desktop, the sites and products we create should work for "screens of all sizes" by default. It's a finer point that would probably not make for a good headline.

      Thank you! Why can't they have a summary on the site? I'd rather not sit through a 40minute video of something I could probably read in a quarter of the time.
