What I'm really interested in is what makes you sure Folyo's survey is inaccurate. Kind of sounds like you're saying that from your personal experience plus maybe the people you know, but that's an even smaller sample size than 200. And as the survey shows, some people are charging higher prices, just not everyone. How do you know where your prices land in terms of what an average freelancer charges?
