The images are now always displayed at half size, so they come through sharp on HPD screens. One of those shots was uploaded at 1600x1200, the other at 800x600.
And agreed on the unpolished feel. It feels off. I think a part of it is the "edgeless" look of the modals isn't carried through anywhere else, in fact, the thumbnail view, modal view, and page view are all very inconsistent in style, the number of likes feels buried—plus more, not trying to bash too hard
ahh makes sense now. I did not get it until I got to read the new info about it on the site.
"small" images with attachments make the new layout feel broken. and this is the majority of existing shots.

It is extremely inconsistent with how they are shown. Some are big, some are small still (old size even though they are 2x)

Why the difference? Also, the whole thing just feels really unpolished now for some reason in both a modal and full page view.
