    So all this time, they've not been able to implement a dark mode because of OSX? That's either crazy, or lazy. It begs the question, what else cant they do because of their deep roots to OSX.

      Oh they could have — I think they just choose to focus on things they deem more important to users.

      You can definitely make dark theme Mac apps, without needing Mojave. :D

      You would have to rewrite the window borders and controls almost from scratch and deal with any errors and inconsistencies that arise from that. Basically if you do this you're a shitty developer.
