That's where the iphone is going. I bet they'll remove the home button at the iphone's bottom and have the touch screen be the entirety of the front panel. Just like they seem to put the touch sensor under the touch panel here.

      Yeah that is a bit weird... It has been slide to unlock as long as I can remember.
      And touch on edge to edge screen must be very frustrating to work with.
