    I feel like Slack already dominates this zone. I'm also not keen on integrating my Facebook with work related things...am I alone here?

      Same, not stoked about pairing the ultimate distraction with a productivity tool.. seems like a tough challenge for FB to figure out.

      My understanding is that it's completely separate from normal FB.

      Not necessarily. Since there are larger organisations out there are still relies on enterprise solution. Slack is still not done with their enterprise offering. Larger orgs will struggle with a single chat feed to keep track of news and updates (think orgs with 10K+ and up all reacting to a certain update).

      That's why solutions like Yammer or Chatter still functions, and integrate well into their respective core offering (office 365 and Salesforce). It'll be interesting to see how they compete on their level in a work environment.
