I'd say the robot isn't needed. Also, looking on a Macbook Pro, the hero text that is pushed to the right can't be seen as it's white text on the cloud background.
Illustrations: Whilst not my taste personally, it's nice to see something other than flat design. Also, I like the use of 'pen-tool' anchors around some of the interface.
I do agree with what Thomas said though, stick with one style, you have a mixture of well crafted illustrations against simple flat icons. Also, whilst on Thomas' points, he's right about the font mixing.
There is a HUGE difference between your homepage and some of the inner pages. To me, your inner pages look cleaner, simpler, although there are some big differences in font sizes, I'd suggest keeping font's in 1, maybe 2 sizes for body text, then the rest as headers.
All in all, it's a great start and I don't think it will put users off. Personally speaking, the website just looks like a V1 to me. Obviously it will evolve over time, as you get feedback like this.
