Well, Invision launched the "Craft" Plugin full of features for Sketch, including that "repeat content" and prototyping directly on the app. Affinity is moving their apps to Windows. Looks like a great battle. Though, (as a Macromedia Fireworks user) I'm still hoping the killer app from Adobe. I know that XD (that I prefer to call Comet) is a super beta preview, but looks like your approach is totally UX Designers.

    • We don't need a masterful app to manage bitmaps, but yes, we need basic bitmap treatment (wand tool - convert marquee to path specially), as Fw does.
    • We need that Path treatment as well: http://puu.sh/nHTWw/7e67787ddc.png
    • We need GRADIENTS, layers, alpha masks, knife tool to divide vector shapes singularly where we want.
    • PSD support (clients don't want to install a new app, they mostly use PS)

I know, again, you're still in beta phase. But you need to figure out quickly how to focus Adobe Comet. There's a lot of UX software, along with a lot of UI apps.

We don't want to limit ourselves because of some feature is missing. Instead, I want to design without basic graphic limits.

Honestly, I just want and app like fireworks, where I can edit bitmaps, vectors, build an entire UI and make Prototypes. But with the new (and awesome features) of project comet.

Come on guys, is like theming Fireworks with the XD UI.

    Peace.

      Thanks for the feedback.

We're focused on enabling a design, prototype and share workflow to enable you to craft compelling user experiences for web and mobile.

We'll be going deeper on all those areas over the coming months, rounding out gaps and, based on feedback, providing the depth of tooling that you need.

      Thanks, Andrew (@Adobe)

      Hi Dan,

With regards to PSD support, it sounds like you are asking for PSD export so that you can hand off a PSD as a final deliverable to a client, is that correct? I'd like to fully understand your use case to weigh it against the features we have in the works. What other deliverables go along with the PSD to clients?

The additional information will help us to understand the use case customers have better.

Thanks, Joan Lafferty Product Manager | Adobe XD | @laffertybug
