Eh, I disagree. Sketch looks like a native Mac app and Comet looks like an Adobe app with a light theme. The only similarity I see is that Comet has fixed and integrated property panels. Big whoop.

The big difference here is Comets toolbar being on the left–I wonder where they put layer handling or if they've possibly got a different paradigm at play.
