That might actually be a good reason for a lot of people to switch but in the past Adobe failed at creating performant cross platform products.
Not true, After Effects performs beautifully. It's just everything else that either sucked on one OS or sucked on the other.
Huh? The entire Creative Suite is currently great on Windows.

Hi Pubudu, the first preview release will be for Mac, but we are committed to bring Comet on Windows as well.

Hi Jim, we want to make sure we are a good native citizen taking advantage of the latest technologies on Windows as well as expected user experience. I don't have a public timeline to share with you at this moment, but we are committed to Windows version.
