I am using it for my design stuff/portfolio and my clothing brand site. Using Jekyll for eCommerce is an interesting exercise, but I'm enjoying the challenge.
I've tried to use Middleman in the past and didn't like it. I also tried a bunch of eCommerce platforms that claimed "all-in-one" solutions before going back to Jekyll. I like how customizable it is.
Of course, Middleman seems like it has a thriving plugin ecosystem.
